As we know, in The Crimes of Grindelwald, there was a flashback to when Leta Lestrange was a child attending Hogwarts. And another child had said Professor McGonnagall! And this is what didnt make sense to me. Tom Riddle (Voldemort), as we know him today; was born in 1927. This movie takes place in 1926 27 or 28 I cant exactly remember which. But, nonetheless he was an infant. This means in 1933 Tom would begin attending Hogwarts. And Minerva Mcgonnagall was in her second year at Hogwarts when Tom was in his first. This means either there was a very large pothole in C.O.G. regarding Minerva, Or it was an ancestor of hers that also had been teaching at Hogwarts.
