<p>For all we know Credence could be a blood relative of Dumbledore, not a brother. But the McGonagall thing could be problematic. The thing about a good story is that the continuity adds up & flows into each other so that the history of the story makes sense. It's like someone writing a history book about Queen Elizabeth I and then later adding that she had a child, how would you feel?</p>
