What would have happen if Lily Potter had survived? What if you-know-who stayed true to his word, that he wouldn’t kill Lily as Snape asked to? That instead of killing her, he used petrificus totalus on her. Left her to watch her only son die. Expect that he didn’t die bc of the protection Lily gave him. She didnt die for him, but she meant to. Just like Harry in DH.
She sat in their blown up house and crying bc James just died. Sirius come by, he gets really mad and really sad. He tells Lily that he is going after Peter. She doesn’t stop him, because deep down, she wants Peter to suffer, how could James’ friend betray them like that. Peter still blames Sirius for betraying the Potters. But Lily is alive to tell them that Peter was the secret keeper. He ends up in Azkaban. Lily, Remus and Sirius decides to move in together. Harry doesnt have to live with the Dursleys bc he get the protection from Lily. Harry growing up, loved and knowing how brave his father was.
Remus gets the wolfsbane potion because they have alot of money and Lily is excellent at potions.
They still have a cellar that Remus and Sirius stays in when its full-moon, if the potion for some reason did not work. Sirius will check if it worked and after that tell Lily to open the door ((it can only be opened from the outside)) so they all hang out in the living room all night.
Harry being afraid of him at first, but Lily tells him that its uncle Moony. That he can transform just like uncle Padfoot. Harry loving them both.
Snape came by one day, apologize to Lily tell her that he had always loved her. She tells him she doesnt love him back, Snape getting okay with it. Them being friends again, and making up with Remus and Sirius. Them all liking each other, and Snape being a much better teacher because he is not bitter.
Harry getting to Hogwarts. Not being hated by Snape. And making good friends with Draco. His mother could be friends with a Slytherin, so can he. Harry still being sorted into Gryffindor. He doesn’t hate Slytherin. He just wants to be a Gryffindor like his father.
Lily, Remus and Sirius getting extremely worried when they hear about his “meeting” with Quirrell. But also really proud bc he was so brave.
Second year, Harry spends last week of summer at the burrow. Dobby coming with the warning, and closing the platform. When Harry gets to Hogwarts and he receives three howlers. One from Sirius “I AM SO PROUD OF YOU! That was awesome!! Why didn’t i think of it????” Getting another one from Remus “Harry... that was so cool and irresponsible of you... I’m disappointed and proud. And last one from Lily “oh Harry, you are SO like your father” and she cant hold her laugh back.
Third year, Remus getting the job as the DADA professor, Sirius coming along, bc cant stay away from his Moony. Lily dont wanna be home alone, so she comes too. Harry being banned from going to Hogsmade bc Peter Pettigrew had escaped from Azkaban and they were worried about his safety. Fred and George giving Harry the marauders map, he instantly recognizes the nicknames “Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs” doesnt tell anyone, bc he really wanna go to Hogsmade with his friends. Peter showing up at Hogwarts and they capture him, but eventually he gets away, and Remus gets exposed as a werewolf ((not by Snape, but by Peter, that little rat)) Remus decides to quit. Harry telling them about the map, them getting mad about him sneaking out of the school. But he is SO James, so they doesn’t stay mad long.
Fourth year, Harry getting into the triwizard tournament, they all being worried and helping him as much as they can. They being there at every event. When he comes out of the maze with Cedric they wanna comfort him. But Harry is gone ((Crouch took him)) them telling Dumbledore, and he goes to confront Crouch. They all comfort him and makes him feel better.
Fifth year, Lily, Remus and Sirius tries to convince the wizarding world that You-know-who is back. Them being happy when they found out about DA. Especially Remus being proud bc he is such a good teacher. Harry still getting oclumency lessons by Snape, but its not being as bad bc Snape is a good teacher. But he is still really bad at it, so you-know-who gets into his mind and shows him Sirius in the ministry. Harry getting there with the golden and silver trio. Sirius is still killed by Bellatrix. Lily, Remus and Harry comforting each other, thinks about all their good memories with him.
Sixth year, when Harry gets the half-blood prince’ book, he knows that it is Snape. Draco doesn’t tell Harry about his frustrations, he is afraid of it. Harry getting really mad when Snape kills Dumbledore, bc he is Lilys friend, how could he betray them like that.
Seventh year, Harry tells his mom that he cant stay with her, he has to hide. He dont wanna tell about the horcruxes. When he sees the silver doe he thinks that its his mothers. Lily, Remus and Tonks joins the battle of Hogwarts. Lily is broken when he finds Remus and Tonks dead. Harry and Lily crying together before he goes to look at Snapes memory. Harry finds out that Snape was on their side all along and that he has to die. Harry getting into the forbidden forest without telling anyone. His mother is broken when she sees her dead son. Harry kills you-know-who, and Lily immediately runs up to Harry “i thought i had lost you” “its okay mom, im okay, i had to do it. i got the resurrection stone from the tale about the three brothers. I meet Remus and Sirius and Severus and Dad in the forest. They helped me getting through it. They are all good, they are all good”
