<p>Did you even read what I wrote? I said that in the *films* her age was never confirmed. If FB films conform to the same canon as the HP films then McGonagall most definitely could have been teaching 1910 onwards and even before then.</p>

<p>I don't think it's a canon break from film canon. I think the Fantastic Beasts franchise follows film canon anyway. In that case, McGonagall could have been a teacher 1910 onwards. Credence could also be Dumbledore's brother because the films do not specify death dates for either of Dumbledore's parents.</p>

<p>Screenplay clearly says Minerva McGonagall.</p>
