Don’t forget the entire student population does not attend the other school. Only the seventh year students are invited to join. Possibly 6th year also I can’t quite remember.
Therefore the mode of transportation would not need to be very large.

I was advised that It contains a lot more detail than the movie and that I should read It prior to seeing the next movie?

@kiara - I don’t know where you got your sources from but cursed child is only a screen play and will absolutely not be made into a movie.
As far as time turners go. In the books, all the time turners get destroyed and then one is recreated in the cursed child by Lucius Malfoy.
Since they were only destroyed during the original series, they would essentially have been available in fantastic beasts. Only officially available by the ministry, but I don’t think Grindlewald would have any trouble obtaining one.
I do think the complications in logic with them is why she wrote that they were destroyed, in order to remove them from any speculations further throughout the plot of the series. I don’t think they will include them in fantastic beasts if they can avoid It.
Fantastic beasts and where to find them is going to be a 5 movie series that takes place prior to the original Harry Potter series and explains the relationship between dumbledore and grindlewald.
The cursed child is in no way related to fantastic beasts.
Also based on the context of your post, It appears that you think It is the first fantastic beasts movie? The movie coming out next is the second of the series and I would suggest watching the first one to get a better understanding before going to see It.
The magic number, as It appears frequently in Harry Potter, is 7. Voldemort originally wanted 7 pieces of his soul - 6 horcrux and himself.
He had created 5 and was planning on using something when he killed Harry for his 6th. Obviously his plan backfired, so he thought and he never accomplished his goal. His soul did however latch onto Harry creating his 6th horcrux.
Later on, Voldemort created what he thought was his 6th and final by killing the old man who used to be his family’s Gardner and making Nagini his 7th.
This can be confusing because in the book and movie they keep mentioning 1 less then you would count up in your head, because no one is counting Harry until the very end.
There are 7 horcrux total and Voldemort himself, but he only meant to create 6. Voldemort is not a horcrux.
I agree... I really wish for the money that was made they could have made super extended cuts of each movie for those willing to watch them.
I think her noticing him in he movie was just to acknowledge the fact that in the book she knew It was Harry even though he used the poly juice potion to look like a red haired kid from town.
So a more “ for the readers ” type of deal.
Didn’t he go up to her and show her his ticket, asking her where the platform is? I would presume he did show her even if It wasn’t stated in the book since he showed It to the other man he asked.
Nothing about either of the two characters seem like this concept would work to me. I actually really like tones and lupin anyways so I’m probably biased

I hate to correct you but the entire plot of the seventh book is based on the fact that you don’t have to kill the elder wands owner.
Voldemort, similar to yourself lol, thought that was the only possible way to transfer the wands power which is why he thought he controlled It.
Draco gained the wand simply by disarming dumbledore and then Harry possessed It after disarming Draco.
Everyone thought that Snape had It because he killed dumbledore, which became the reason Harry defeated Voldemort
May I ask why you say Sirius spends a lot of time with Harry? Between the hiding out and Harry being and school they almost spent no time together. In fact he spent less time with Harry then any of the other characters mentioned.
I think the goal was for him to be a father figure, but he was ever able to do to his premature death. Not to mention everything he did was actually a bad example for Harry not a good one lol.
Voldemort would never take control of the elder want from dumbledore without killing him afterwards.
So I don’t think that this situation would be realistic.
Arthur is the only character that had a lot of involvement of his day to day life.
Arthur is the only real father figure. He took Harry in, prepared him for school, and actually gave him adult advice and warnings regarding Harry’s safety. He was the only character who gave Harry a continuous, no biased fatherly relationship and didn’t put Harry at risk.
Hagrid and Sirius both continuously put Harry at risk and definitely were more friends. Obviously Harry wanted to view Sirius as a father figure because he was his godfather but Sirius couldn’t help but treat him as a best friend / substitute of James. The other adults continuously corrected him for his improper parenting skills, which he obviously wouldn’t have much experience with. The fatherly relationship between Harry and Sirius never had time to actually grow.
Dumbledore was a mentor for Harry, but once again didn’t take on a role as a father figure.

My point is, regardless how It is described and interpreted, there is no way in my mind the killing curse would work on for ex. Dumbledore unless he willingly allows It too. Any powerful wizard should have so many shield charms cast on them that nothing would penetrate It.
There wouldn’t even be such thing as a powerful wizard because everyone would be dead. Not to mention if Voldemort’s followers ran around killing everyone and no one could defend them self there would be no way of stopping them. The battle of Hogwarts would have lasted 2 minutes and everyone would be dead.

This is what I never understood about Harry Potter. A more powerful witch or wizard should be able to block any curse from another wizard if they are aware it’s happening.
They even state in the books that the spell is only as strong as the wizard. When ‘professor moody’ is teaching them Avada kadavra he says that they could cast It on him with no effect.
He was, but I think the question was referring to when they were first introduced at Hogwarts. Since she is only on the first book
Draco was brought up by the Malfoy family to dislike Potter. He dislikes the weasleys because their father enjoys studying mud bloods. You’ll learn as you read through the novels.
Draco’s personality is strictly to satisfy his parents. He only really starts to act on his own conscience decisions towards the end of the series.
I think his death was to show Harry that his reckless decisions had serious consequences.
Severus says It best when he tells Harry that he is a child and thinks that he is the only person that has any thoughts or ideas.
Dumbledore told him to learn occlumancy and to ignore the dreams but Harry did his own thing and fell into a trap which led to Sirius blacks death. I think this helped Harry make more mature decisions going forward in the series.
