Now I know lots of people dislike the play, book version and theatre version but I’ve just finished reading the book and went to see it last year and honestly I love it all the same. Managed to read it in less than a week and I genuinely just love everything about it, it shows the ptsd Harry had from not only the war but his childhood and also showed how truly sad and lonely Draco Malfoy is. I just love it so much I think it’s brilliant.

So like we know Harry had a bad childhood so let’s be real here Vernon definitely did not let him take swimming lessons as a child, so either Harry got free ones from school like some people do (I did in the UK) or the power of Gillyweed helped him swim but honestly I don’t think there’s any way Harry knew how to swim. And obviously I know films overlook stuff like this but I found it interesting to think about.

How come they don’t show the relationships development of Harry and Ginny in the films like in order of Phoenix he’s all about Cho but then in Half-Blood Prince he’s all about Ginny?

I haven’t read the books but from what I’ve heard they talk about their relationship development more and I will read the books I swear I’m getting there slowly but like it just annoyed me how Harry and Ginny’s relationship just kinda pops out of the blue in the films.

Anybody else notice that Umbridge can produce a patronus charm. Only people with happy memories can produce one really, and she can, it shows how truly evil she is because even Voldemort can’t because even though killing people makes him feel some sort of happiness but for Umbridge she must have had a happy memory or torturing someone or killing someone. It just baffles me that she can produce and patronus where as other people such as death eaters, can’t.

Okay but imagine is Snape survived the attack of Nagini. Like imagine how his relationship with people would have changed. Harry would forgive him after seeing his memory and I think so would Ron and Hermione. Because as we know Snape didn’t die from Abada Kadarva he died from Voldemort’s snake Nagini killing him, attacking his neck and thus Snape bleeding out, it is obviously unlikely that he could have ever survived but just imagine if he had. Imagine the connection he would then have with Harry. Harry would be able to see how much he loved Lily and how all Snape’s wrong doings were for the right reasons, like killing Dumbledore he would forgive him for killing him because he had to because Snape was told to. He would see the emotion and the heart that Snape actually had but nobody saw. And Harry would finally understand why he was so rude to him because he saw the woman he loved every time he looked into his eyes. He saw James, the boy who bullied him in school. And he couldn’t bare it because it hurt him. But imagine how Harry would reside and understand and finally Snape would be happy because he had a part of Lily back and that would be with his connection with Harry.

If Snape had survived so much greatness could have been made. His death is one of the saddest and most tragic.

Imagine when Harry gets back from taking the liquid luck potion (Felix Felicis) and he’s telling Hermione and Ron about what happened and in the end he just goes and and Ron you know the massive Spider Aragog that tried to kill us in the second year? And then Ron gets all scared because his biggest fear is spiders so he’s all like shivering and says yeah? And then Harry just goes, yeah he’s dead. And the joy and excitement in Ron’s face, he’s the happiest he has been that whole day. I don’t doubt for a second that this happened.

Half Blood Prince has got some of the best scenes in my opinion it’s honestly one of my favourite films. And sarcastic Harry? Amazing. Also I just think it’s so adorable and pure when Harry and Ron are talking about why Dean likes Ginny and they get to saying it’s cause of their skin and Harry basically admits to liking Ginny and Ron basically admits to like Hermione. I’m like ugh this is so cute. Then Ron dates Lavender.
