Half-blood + Pure Blood is still “tainted” blood, it wouldn’t be “fixed” to pure-blood until a few more generations with pure-bloods.

I’m remembering how Quirrell tried to kill Harry on his broom at the game and it was Snape trying to save him. Seem Snape was always running after Quirrell in form of protecting others

Snape was one of the professors protecting the stone, wouldn’t he be prepared/ know that he had to play music to fall asleep?
