The three unforgivable curses are unblockable, yet in the films we see Harry block a green spell ( I presume the killing curse ) several times. Are the unforgivable curses blockable in the films?

I know that blocking the unforgivable curses is impossible, except by hitting it with another spell or intercept it with an object, however, during de duel between Harry Potter and Tom riddle trough hogwards Harry blocks an offensive spell cast bij Tom, which is green in coloured an because of this I believe it to be the killing curse. How is it possible for Harry to block this curse? We only see it being block by hitting it with an object, another spell, by priori incentantem or bij locking spells ( for example between dumbledore’s expelliarmes and tom’s avada kadavra in the order of the Phoenix.)
