From JKRs official site:
JKR: As of the end of Half-Blood Prince, he has no idea how to produce one, so nobody knows. You must remember that the ability to produce a Patronus demonstrates an advanced level of magic not routinely taught to young Hogwarts students (hence the surprise of the prospective members of Dumbledore’s Army when they find out that Harry can make a Patronus).
There's also some fun speculation that it'd be a ferret.
Popped back to check out what's happened. Was going to come and go incognito as it's allowed to have a second account as long as the first isn't banned. I wasn't intending on any trouble, but I found the explanation of the word discussion and real so unbelievably frustrating I had to say something. Sorry for that.
Using the other account would have been asking for trouble- i felt it better not to use it.
I figure this thread will be deleted anyway.
So yeah.

The star Sirius is also known as the 'Dog Star' which if you switch his names around makes him 'Black Dog', a clue from Rowling as to his secret before it's revealed.
There's quite a few examples of this through the HP series. Remus Lupin for example. Remus and Romulus were twin boys raised by wolves, while Lupine is descriptive term for something that resembles a wolf. Hints galore.
Knowing Tom he probably had a Taboo on the phrase 'King of the World!"
I can't even start to imagine what it must have been like to be on set as this happened 😱
As far as I'm aware a Maledictus can only be a woman. I'm not saying there's not some male equivalent, but for some reason a Blood Malediction looks like it wouldn't work on Draco.
Fair enough- missed it legitimately this time.
Someone has been drinking a lot of Hair-Raising_Potion ,and seems keen to point out his brewing skill
I'm confused as to why adding a link as an example of content being refered to in a question about Canon should be shuffled off to the category refered to.
To me it seems like a poor decision or just an over simplificiation of proper categorization.
I agree that any snide comment is an over reaction to the above, but it's born of frustration over what appears to me to be repeated poor moderation
I'd agree there's good reason some of the scenes didn't make the final cut, but I think that maybe that's more to do with pacing and film length.
That said, we have assume the scenes were still written by JKR, so anything said in those extra scenes, like Dumbledore specifically calling Professor McGonagall by her first name of Minerva, confirms her identity for anyone still suggesting otherwise.
Like in the original 7 books, there's a lot of written detail that just didn't make it the big screen for editing, pacing and film length reasons. Can we take these snippets of JKRs writing and assume that despite not making the final cut, that they still count as Canon?
Link removed because it's secondary to my question and only included for reference.
Again you've totally missed the point of my post. Are you intentionally trying to ruin my time here?
You'll notice I've posted a lot less since your last toxic attack, especially after you had the nerve of accusing me of being the toxic one (so rude).
Kindly leave me alone in future. Thanks. Have a nice day.
My friends mother thought LOL stood for 'Lots of Love'
A relative posted about a family member passing away.
Friends mother posted her response- Hope you're all OK LOL
Moodys Boggart form is know to be Voldemort. All he had to do was look in the cupboard and see Voldemort in there to know it was a Boggart, as there was no way it could be the real Voldemort.
