Okay is there someone here that doesn’t like the series cuz if there is I want to ask them how they handle the situation cuz I don’t know how to handle it

Okay it’s a canon and that’s a fact but does it really matter ?Because if it is full of plot holes it means it wasn’t given enough time or wasn’t panned right so technically if they release another movie saying that Voldemort actually won or it all was in Harry’s dream or Seth like that it would technically be considered canon but no one would take it seriously

Anyway I personally have a problem with this whole thing.I love Harry Potter and now the fantastic beasts series is a thing and the majority along with the ratings seems to think it’s a failure and I don’t know how to handle this.Should I think of it as non canon after all of the plot holes ,ratings and opinions ?Cuz since I was a child I have been in love with this universe and it really bothers me that they were a ‘failure’

Like the whomping willow being there when it is supposed to be ‘invented’ ‘made’ in the maurauders era,like the killing curse not killing instantly the target,like the killing curse being blocked by a spell and like Minerva being a professor in hogwarts when I think she wasn’t even supposed to be born at that time

But it has a handful of plot holes that are really going against the rules of the Harry Potter series

That’s what I think and do you consider them canon ?

I mean not really good ratings and reviews or am I wrong ?

But how can you be okay knowing that there are three failed movies in your fav franchise and stuff happening that don’t make sense with the rules that were set in the original series ?

It’s not the end sure but like there are so many plot hole the qilin took two hits is the killing curse to die dumbledore blocked the killing curse and if they were a failure then why even consider them canon and not just movies to milk the fans?And if you do take them as canon you will have to think that it has plot holes who disrupts the rules of the wizarding world

But like what annoys me kinda is like fist of all do you guys think that all the story added to already known Harry Potter characters like aberforths kid being credence and all that do you like it and if yes we’re the three movies a failure and if they were doesn’t that bother you?

But like okay first of all wouldn’t that be considered a failed series? and second of all wouldn’t that bother you?

Why would they hate it ?
