@Jellooooooooooooooooooooo Snape hated Harry because Harry looked like James. And in case you didn’t pay attention to the story, James Potter was a HUGE JERK who would bully Snape for NO REASON. So every time Snape looks at Harry, he sees the face of a man who traumatized him for life. In the end of the series you see that he had ended up somewhat loving Harry. It is not Snape’s fault that he was constantly bullied by James. Snape was very nice as a child, it’s James fault he became mean and cold.

Peter Peteigrew (I don’t know if I spelled his last name right) Was actually in Gryfindor, even though he ended up a death eater.
