Hedwig is an incredibly smart bird. She was able to find Sirius when not even the whole Ministry of Magic could, (not that they’re very smart anyway). And I agree with her wanting Harry to receive gifts. Anyway that’s my answer.

Lord Voldemort seemed to only be a threat to wizards in the U.K. he didn’t get powerful enough to be anything else. Yes, he did a lot of damage but we’re seeing in FB that he went way farther than Voldemort ever did.
