If your favorite HP character is Harry, comment 'gryffindor'
If your favorite HP character is anyone else besides Harry, comment 'horcrux'
There's really no point to this post other than curiosity lol
WAIT OMG I NEED TO DO THAT
Bellatrix was insane and all but honestly kind of a queen
If your favorite HP character is Harry, comment 'gryffindor'

So anyway can we talk about how Lily and James would have been grandparents at the age of 44?
I’ll leave you to think about that
Have a nice day *tips hat and walks out*
I mean i suppose it’s not horribly unlikely for a boy to have the same type as his father
Honestly this is the best thing my dead brain has ever come up with
GasP demigirl tonks is perfect omfg
I don’t want to give JKR credit for this, because it was obviously an accident, since JKR would be all high and mighty about it if she had written it on purpose, but-
Tonks is ngl a non-binary icon.
Listen:
- she can shapeshift at will. she’s literally the genderqueer dream.
- she refuses to be called by her feminine name, and prefers a very unisex name (tonks) instead
- she only allows very close family to call her a shortened form of her extremely feminine birth name
There’s probably a lot more evidence that i can’t think of right now, but tonks is definitely non-binary in my eyes, even if JKR made her female because it seemed “normal” or some crap
Yess, what Strawberry eggo said- Parvati and Padma were done dirty with their dresses, Indian dresses are gorgeous and theirs just...weren't.
What @Icecreamdif said for sure- JKR's random tweets don't carry any value to me, even if she is the author. If she woke up one day and thought, "Hm, seems like a nice day to make Anthony Goldstein Jewish!", it's kind of worthless. If he was Jewish, she could mention it at least once in the books, movies, extras, anything except social media.
She also never talked about her random tweets again, so they probably don't mean much to her either.
Tbh yeah, I guess, but I hate it when she puts out random stuff like that
1) She claims there's representation in her books when really, she's just adding random unplanned tidbits to different characters just so she can look good. Like what @Strawberry eggo said about Anthony Goldstein. One that personally irritates me is the fact that she suddenly declared that Dumbledore was gay, surprise! No. She can't just claim things like this and pretend it's real. Frankly, it's a bit shameful, and a lot disappointing
2) She's openly transphobic. She likes and posts transphobic tweets. But despite that, she defends herself, saying she isn't transphobic. It's big-time messed up.
She's still a great writer, and I love Harry Potter, but JKR is no longer my idol.
"You're Penny Haywood! The most popular girl in our year!"
"not on my birth certificate, i'm not."
"My family owns a Tree Farm!"
"isn't that just a forest...?"
I'm on
stage 4- despising snape completely (note: this stage is optional)
@Virginia Wright13 siriella and renmus? sirius and who? remus and who?-
This is a dumb and random theory that probably doesn’t make much sense but hey
I came up with this last night when i was trying to sleep lol
Okay, so the theory is:
Hermione asked the sorting hat to put her in gryffindor. (like harry did, ya know?)
My ✨reasoning✨:
For one- i know 99% of y’all think hermione’s second house is ravenclaw, but i believe it’s slytherin. ravenclaws are open-minded; frankly, hermione isn’t. BUT her ~ambition~ drives her to be the most intelligent and brightest witch of her year. because she has the ambition to succeed.
So, anyway. i think the sorting hat could possibly have put her in slytherin. BUT keep in mind that hermione didn’t have very many friends before hogwarts. and we all know our little miss girl did her research on the houses. so maybe- just MAYBE hermione knew of slytherin’s reputation- and asked not to be put into the house of ✨bad reputation✨ (okay, fr, i’m a slytherin and we rock 🤍💚 but anyway) because she wanted to be liked and have friends this time around.
So yeah lol, that’s my theory
Sirius, James, GINNY GINNY GINNY
WOLFSTAR. YOU HEAR ME? W O L F S T A R
Marthur (underrated af)
Nuna or Linny (i can't choose)
*clears throat*
Snape is toxic and Lily realized that, and she turned him away because she didn't want to be part of the cruel ideas and people he surrounded himself with
Lily was best friends with Snape when they were children, when she felt lonely because no one else was a witch/wizard like her- except for Snape. She became friends with Snape because they were alike
But once they got to Hogwarts, Lily made new friends, and she didn't need to be around Snape to feel understood.
Oh, and there's the fact that Snape called her a Mudblood, which is like a racial slur. Best friends don't insult each other using racial slurs.
Lily left Snape because she wanted to. She didn't like the friends he had. She didn't like the things he did. And she was hurt by the words he said to her. *cough cough Mudblood cough*
Sure, Snape said sorry. But did he really mean it? If he really loved Lily, he would let go of the things he did wrong. But he didn't. He was still a sadist who enjoyed being around evil people.
Snape was possessive. He didn't want Lily hanging out with James and the Marauders because he was jealous. No one likes a jealous prat, especially Lily.
Yeah, okay. Lily died, and Snape was all like "boohoo my love died, how will I ever move on" and "you're drinking water? *sob* LiLy UsEd To DrInK wAtEr". But that was all fake. You know how I know?
I know it was fake because if Snape truly loved Lily, he would care for James and Harry too. Don't give me all that "he protected Harry and kept him alive". He protected Harry for Lily, not for Harry. And he still treated Harry like dirt.
Not to mention that Snape literally stepped over James' dead body and ran over to Lily, completely ignoring the fact that there was a freaking child crying in his crib. Are we just going to ignore that, or-?
And like @Jcm10313 said, Lily didn't choose Snape, so Snily isn't consensual.
Lupin
Living with Remus would be harder because of the whole werewolf thing (and money), but Remus would be able to genuinely love him in a way that no one else except for Sirius and Harry's parents could
