Some houses are treated unfairly by fans. People think Slytherins are mean or evil, Ravenclaws are lame, nerdy know-it-all's, and Hufflepuffs are weak. And that Gryffindor is the best house just because. That really annoys me because my bff is a Slytherin and Gryffindor, the worst and best houses by opinion of the toxic fans. And she's not mean at all like they think Slytherins are.
Being cunning or wanting power is not necessarily a bad thing. It has nothing to do with bullying others. Because Harry didn't want to be a Slytherin after hearing the thing Ron said, ("The Slytherins go bad" or something similar) people assumed all Slytherins are evil. They are assumed as aspiring death eaters. But my Slytherin friend wants to major in medicine, not murder.
If anyone betrays the trust and love of a Hufflepuff, they're going to have a hard time. But some think the Hufflepuff would just forgive them like a doormat. Quite the contrary, actually. They are deemed "weak."
Ah, and the Ravenclaws. Where do I even begin? I see headcannons of Ravenclaws being the ones who spew out random facts about anacondas or something. They can be know-it-all's sometimes, like me, but shouldn't be written off as the "smart house" or the "nerd house."
Gryffindor seems to be the most liked house, the one where everyone is so fair and just. Excooze me, but Peter Pettigrew.
By this logic, this means my bff is both a saint and a devil. And that makes no sense.
My point is exactly.
