Okay... I have to ask something.

Is it considered spamming to make more than three posts in the same day?

Because I've been to some other wikis and some of them said you could only make three posts a day, does that go the same for this wiki too?

Is there any rules on how many posts you make?

Definitely not. If Remus and Sirius were able to try to kill Peter then there's no question about James.

Sure, Lily might try to stop him, but she'd likely be unsuccessful.

If there was a Canon HP book written about both James and Lily's entire story, I would actually believe James had a road to redemption and I would be able to see more information about him and Lily.

If there was an entire story about them, I might actually ship them again like I used to in 2022 (only I wouldn't romanticize toxicity now like I did back then bc I learned from my mistakes reading my old posts).

I would love to know a lot more about both of their lives so that way I could understand their relationship more.

There were a lot of things that happened to me in the past, but I can't talk about it bc yk this is fandom, (but I can say this, none of my family knows I go on fandom bc I keep it a secret bc I know they would get protective if they knew I did, but I come on Fandom bc I usually want to talk about a lot of stuff fictional related) when I came on Fandom and I discussed about ships back in 2022, I was rambling on how Dramione in Canon could make sense and I was one of the people to have romanticized Dramione in the past. But a couple of months later, I looked at my old posts purely for memories, and read three Dramione fanfics of mine, and they...

Dear God, I gagged at how dreadful my writing was because I noticed how Draco still treated Hermione horrible and yet in those fanfic they end up being soulmates.

That very day I realized that I have romanticized Dramione's unhealthy aspects and I am still upset at my 2022 self for doing that.

Now, I am still a Dramione shipper, however, I only ship Hermione with a Reformed/Redeemed Draco now, not the same Draco who bullied her, wished her death, treated her like the dirtiest animal on the planet, threatened her, hexed her, sold her out to Bellatrix, smiled as she got tortured by the said person whom he sold her out to, and tried to kill her several times during the battle.

I ship Dramione in Fanon, but Canon Dramione would just be an insult to my favorite character (Hermione).

But anyways, back to James and Lily:

Of course James could've been killed in the Order, in fact, he was too, by Voldemort, but he got killed protecting his son. I can understand where you're coming off with this though so I guess I'll cut James a little bit of slack.

But even if he did change and apologize to the people he bullied (which we don't know if he did or not), he doesn't need a relationship with Lily, he has more than enough of what he wants, parents who love him, friends, fame, glory, etc, etc.

I'm glad that Harry Potter was born, but there are plenty of other women who would've been glad to marry James and half of them may even have the same color eyes as Lily, so he could've still had a son that he would've named Harry.

I don't mind the Fanon version of Jily where they show James as a Reformed/Redeemed person, in fact, I've read some fanfics and I can say they are better than most of mine at least.

But this is reality Jily we are speaking of, so even if James did change and no matter how much he did change, Lily could've developed a friendship with him instead of a romance, but she forgave him far too quickly and lost all of her flaws when she married him, which was a bit of a disappointment for me because I like flawed characters, that's what makes them more realistic, that's one of the reasons Hermione is my favorite character is because she has flaws that make her more human.

I don't hate James nor Lily, but I really would wish for more development behind both of them.

One of my problems with Jily is that Lily turned into a goddess when she married James and that's not very realistic for a character trait, in fact it kinda made her a bit of a Mary Sue.

And James was just... well, he did mature as an adult and became a good father, but he was barely written about also. Like I said before, he had pretty much everything he wanted, and again, I'm glad Harry Potter was born because it created the franchise, but James could've chosen a different woman that could possibly have the same bright green eyes as Lily did, so it's not like Harry wouldn't have been born if James married someone else. Him and Lily could've had a mutual friendship instead rushing into romance.

I think Remus and Sirius have more of a brotherly relationship, rather than a romantic one.

It's literally the only, and weakest, piece of evidence of James changing.

I have a feeling you should look up the difference between changing and maturing.

Someone who truly changes dosen't get off Scot Free with their bullying behavior, but James never got in trouble. In fact, he got everything he wanted.

And just because he's an Order Of The Phone member doesn't mean he's a good person. Peter Pettigrew used to be one, then he switched to the side of the Death Eaters.

I know James would never switch to the Death Eaters side, but that doesn't make him good.

I don't think James was pure evil, I actually think of him as a character in the grey area (though a very dark grey) since he was barely written about.

The only good qualities he has are that he cares for his son and the rest of the Marauders (until Pettigrew betrayed him and Lily).

If there was more written about him, I would believe that he did change.

But considering the very little personality, I can't say he did.

If I were to immediately assume he changed when he had very little character, I would be considered someone who easily forgives.

I do have evidence: There was not a hint that he had apologized to his bully victims, he justified his bullying out of love for Lily, and only "changed" when Lily dated him. He was maturing out of his narcissistic ways but again, that doesn't mean he changed.

But of course, being someone who ships Jily, you'd probably not understand the evidence.

It'd be one thing if James wasn't intentionally made out to be the hero the whole time, but he was. Which is very horrible development on his character.
