Terry started shaking like a leaf, all color draining. A girl had just died, in a way he would've died as well if Amythest and James hadn't saved him.
There was a deafening shriek from the courtyard. A dark-haired girl was pulled up into the air, levitating far above everyone else. Her limbs broke one by one, and her neck twisted too. She fell back to earth, dead.
