Chapter 3 - Havoc in the House

Rain was still very agitated at Herbology the same morning. The Howler was still fresh in her ears, still screaming- “Malfoy! Will you pay attention?” Professor Longbottom said quietly. Rain jerked her head, “Wha-“ She stammered. The class was staring at her in surprise. Rain looked down. Her hand was half covered with dark brown soil and her hair was blowing around freely. She wrenched her hand out of the dirt, embarrassed. Rain finished repotting her Star Bean and took a few notes as the class was restored to its usual silence. When Herbology was finished, Rain walked slowly out of class, staring so intently at her schedule that she tripped over someone. “Ouch!” A voice squeaked as Rain fell to the floor. A girl named Juwela Kalsdy was rubbing her head on the floor, sniffling. “Oh! Juwela, I’m so sorry!” Rain said gloomily as she heard footsteps behind her, “Well well well, 2 students not in class? Snooping around, I suppose...” Rain’s blood froze. Oh no! She groaned silently, crossing her fingers.

Chapter 4 - Professor Snape?

Rain looked around behind her. A man with billowing dark blue robes stood there. His hair was slick, greasy, and black. Professor Snape? Rain pondered on the question. No, couldn’t be! “I am Potions master, Professor Snape.” The man said coldly, “But- Professor Snape is- well- he’s dead!” Rain exclaimed. “Well, you may not have heard but Severus Snape had a son named Lucix Snape. I went into hiding at the age 11. I had to be permitted to Durmstrang instead of Hogwarts!” Snape said quietly, all coldness wiped from his voice. His face suddenly grew curious, “A Malfoy, are you? Why are you not in Slytherin?” Rain gulped nervously, “Uhm-“ Why was she in Ravenclaw?

Chapter 5 - Potions
Rain had unfortunately not been able to answer Professor Snape’s question the day before, but she was looking forward to seeing him again at Potions. It was a Friday and Rain had Double Potions! With the Slytherin group. Rain was looking forward to seeing Daniele, her twin. But when she entered the dungeons Daniele was with someone else. Rain, feeling anger rising in her throat took a seat at the front of the class. Snape trotted into the classroom, wearing brilliant dark green robes. Whispers rose from around Rain, containing words like “Snape!” and “That’s our potions master?”. Rain stared contentedly at Snape. Snape, by far, was her new favorite teacher.
