And by that I mean do the numbers hold any significance to whatever they can be replaced by or are they just placeholders with no meaning to the riddle (like blanks).

Are the numbers a placeholder or do they really stand for something?

Alia grins.

"That's gotta be a crime somewhere. Luring people in with alcohol and giving them water. Maybe I'll bring that up with the Imperial Senate."

Alia opens it up and takes a quick swig of it before grimacing.

"Yep, that's alcohol alright."

"Hmm... officially, yes... but since you have brandy, I guess I have no choice but to stay."

"It's alright-" Alia inches closer to the water. "Do you have to go now?"

Alia chills by the Great Lake

"OH SO I'M THE MEEPFACE! I'M DONE MEEPING SCARED!" Bob said, despite being very scared.

Alia was silently watching the argument between Tsuneko and Tamayo play out.

"A siren??? Then you could've killed me, right? And just to clarify, you did say brandy, correct? 👀"

(bye luuuu)

"You- what? How did I get here??? I mean- why did I want to come here so badly? And more importantly, did you say brandy?"

Alia backs up, startled, and trips over her dress.

"I- uh- hello?"

Alia finally arrived at the beach, but stopped so suddenly she almost fell.

What just happened? What the hell was that???

Alia loses her train of thought entirely.

She hurriedly leaves the palace and runs frantically through the city, heading straight for the beach. Thankfully, the city is mostly empty due to the festivities in the palace.

I may had some brandy

(so down for alia and tsuneko booze party)

Alia feels drawn to the ocean.

Why- why do I want to swim? I barely even know how to swim-

Alia finds a terrace and looks out onto the city and the ocean behind it.

It's a really beautiful view from the imperial palace. I wonder what it's like out there...

The air feels light and sweet. She thinks can almost hear a melody, but chalks it up to her imagination.

For the first time, Alia wondered what it would be like for anyone who couldn't attend the festival. She was immediately confused as to why she was thinking about that.

(it's almost as if tsuneko had been thinking about it as well 👀)
