Hupplepuff because almost every main character in Harry Potter was of Gryffindor. I think we need a change in characters and his mother is from Hupplepuff so it will also make sense in hupplepuff.

So what you are saying is that there are only 6 horcruxes.

Well he did not go through the prices but as Dumbledore said 'You were the horcrux he never meant to make' that means he didn't want harry to become a horcrux but he did become one so that is why he is still counted as one. Same as for Quirell

he does not fit the definition of a Horcrux, as he was not created intentionally using the Horcrux-making spell for the purpose of obtaining immortality, HarryPotter essentially became a Horcrux. After Voldemort's curse rebounded on him, a piece of his mangled soul split off and latched onto Harry.

There were 8 horcruxes. 7 were made by Voldemort intentionally ( Nagini, goblet, diary, locket, ring, diadem and the part of his soul in Voldemort himself) and 1 was made accidentally which was Harry.

The answer is 8 in both.

As however Harry became a horcrux. He is still counted as one. 7 is not the maximum number horcrux can be made.
