@Moontide NightWing SeaWing hybrid She could possibly beat him in a duel but it’s really unlikely, Harry is a lot more trained in terms of Defence against the Dark Arts, and has also duelled Voldemort

@Matipereira people always say that but I feel like everyone means the more dark wizard, and Tom Riddle went to lengths that were though impossible in terms of dark magic, I feel like Grindelwald had a more complete understanding of magic, also a lot of people don’t consider Grindelwald evil

It depends what people mean by powerful, some people base it just on duelling and who’d win in a fight, I like to base it on a persons complete magical abilities, Hermione could be more powerful than Harry but I’d still think Harry would beat her in a duel

Interesting question, Voldemort duels to kill and kill only. Gellert duels to simply outclass and, if he needs to, kill. So I’d probably be leaning towards Voldemort, however I think that Grindelwald is probably the more overall powerful wizard

Depends what you mean by ‘better’, I feel like he would still be mean but I think he might learn more from Snape in terms of magic, so he’d be more powerful than he turned out
