Happy New Year!
Did you know that there was also personal reason for why Dumbledore gave Neville all those points?
At the end of the first book he says
Which allows Gryffindor to win the house cup. But there's actually another reason Dumbledore gave those points to Nevillle besides it being brave, nice and having Gryffindor to win the cup.
Because, Neville plucked up the courage to stand up to his friends...just like how Dumbledore plucked up the courage to stand up to his old friend Gellert Grindalwald.
I just think that's a heartwarming detail.
LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4 is supremely underated.
He looks good with both, but I like how his long hair differentiates him from his son. Shows him to be more older and sophisticated compared to his young and outwardly arrogant son.
I'd have 2 nickels.
But this was a different park from Universal Studios Hollywood so maybe it's one nickel?
Slightly pompous, but loyal and likable
Did you know that, ironically, the Resurrection Stone is the only Deathly Hallow not to appear in the Philosopher's Stone?
The Elder Wand Appears
The Invisibility Cloak (obviously) appears...
...but no Resurrection Stone.
But you ask: What ironic part?
Resurrection Stone. Philosophers Stone. Gedit?
Above: Me hugging Hermione near the Tram station
*Minor Side Note: I’ve changed my mind on Hermione from Books 5-6. She’s not nearly as bad as I thought, and I'll do my best to be more Pro-Hermione from now on.

Did you know that Dean's melancholy suggestion for a Vampire being the new Defense against the Dark Arts teacher was actually crazy foreshadowing? Vampires, in order to stay alive, drink blood. Barty Crouch Junior took the hair of Moody's and drank it to keep his disguise alive. So in a crazy way, Barty Crouch actually was a vampire.
He also had pale skin.
Did you know that Krum was techniqually a Pedophile? In the wizarding world, you become a legal adult when you turn 17, which Krum was. During the Triwizard Tournament, Krum grew feelings for and even kissed Hermione, who was 14. And during Bill and Fleur's wedding, he showed interest in Ginny, who was 16.
Yeah, maybe Ron was right about Krum being too old.
(This is NOT meant to offend any Hermione fans. @Nectaris7 you are right, she has definite reasons for this and this is just my silly, stupid personal opinion)
The Saving-People-Thing. Like I said before: NUFF SAID!
When Dumbledore died and Snape was revealed to be the prince, she said this: “Well, it’s just that I was sort of right about the Half-Blood Prince business”. Saying that is one thing, but saying it in the face of the person who witnessed Dumbledore's death at the hands of the prince is quite another.
She still didn't trust the Prince even when their teaching SAVED RON's LIFE.
Bluntly insulted Luna and told her about how there is no such things as Crumpled Horned Snorkacks and Helleopaths even after she told Harry that she Belived him. And to add salt to the wound she said: "Oh, for heaven’s sake, Harry, you can do better than her"
She thinks that tricking House elves into taking clothes would free them when only their masters can free them by directly giving them clothes. And She is supposed to be the smart one?
Redeeming Qualities
She reddemed (Except for stuff relating to the Hallows) in Book 7.
GIven that she is Muggleborn, its understandable that she doesen't know much about House-Elves.
She is (thankfully) not like this in the films.
