Now the third side remains, and that is no other than the former resistance, or dumbledore's army themselves; most stayed good, yet some had decided that they had done their job, and as one once said those who fight monsters are no better than the monsters themselves...

Canon characters are allowed- this is around Cursed child era. in fact, they might be recommended given the lore so long they are not portrayed inappropriately.

As much this is set in an AU this is still Harry potter universe.
