'Well, no one really knows until they get there, do they, but I know I'll be in Slytherin, all our family have been—imagine being in Hufflepuff, I think I'd leave, wouldn't you?'
I had to go and check. I didn't remember it very well either.
Whichever house Malfoy mentions first in Philosopher's Stone. Slytherin, I guess? I think he brings up Hufflepuff next. By the way, I'm talking about the book, not the movie.
Ginny in Half-Blood Prince.
Lockhart was definitely the worst professor.
Umbridge at least taught students some theory. Being a b***h was an entirely unrelated issue.
The Carrows taught students Dark Arts, not Defence Against the Dark Arts, so they shouldn't qualify for this poll.
But Lockhart? As endearing as he could be as a character, he actually MISLEAD students with his useless spells and made-up (or stolen) exploits.
We can all agree that Lupin was by far the best DADA professor, followed by "Moody" a.k.a. Barty Jnr. Which is kinda ironic, considering that he was an undercover Death Eater all along. Gotta love 'im.
That's not how Wikipedia does it, though. Not with real living people, nor with fictional characters.
I don't believe Snape's story with Lily to be beautiful in any way, shape or form—it was obsession, not love, what drove Snape towards Lily, and a very sick obsession at that—and I do like Ron and Hermione as a couple. Hufflepuff is not the best house, but then again, no house is the best house. And I don't care much about Filch.
As for the rest... How are these unpopular opinions to begin with? They're all true.
