Yo it's me again, so i did some more research. back in the Founders era the Statute of Secrecy had not been founded yet, so Muggles knew about wizards. and being so if they got into a dispute they couldn't really duel them with magic, so wizards would also be trained to duel with a sword.

And I'm seeing some misconception about Gryffindor's sword and on Gryffindor himself. his sword was forged and enchanted by Goblins, Goblin Forged armor and weapons do not rust nor do they tend to break easily, they also can absorb a number of substances such as Basilisk venom. Gryffindor purchased the sword from a Goblin named Ranruk the first, according to Goblin law, anything Goblin made is pretty much "on loan" vs actually being owned by the individual who purchased the item. and Ranruk eventually claimed that Gryffindor stole the sword.

Hope this cleared some stuff up.

Ppl often forget that hogwarts was founded around the 990's, back then dueling with swords was just another way to end conflicts or fights.

Well Talbott Winger is an animagi, He's a Ravenclaw. (He's from Hogwarts Mystery) also the Hogwart Mystery's protagonist (Jacob's sibling) can become an animagi and be from any house
