Jace followed closely behind.
"Woah, already two pages?" James marveled. "You're like the Ultimate Writing Machine."
Ben grinned. "You are one interesting Telekinetic."
"Woah," Tam said. "You're a- wait I forgot the name." (NOT ME ACTUALLY FORGETTING THE POWER AND BEING LAZY TO NOT FIND IT)
Jace growled and waited for Suki's countdown.
James didn't know how to answer that, so he just draped an arm around Miley's shoulder while he searched for other books.
"This isn't the UK, but sure," James smiled. "Still, my inner child is always gonna be childish."
Ben smiled. "At least nobody got hurt. Except those bullies."
Tam grinned. "Wanna show me what you can do, Miss Lachesis?"
Jace sighed. "Deer versus fox. Hopeless. But I'll try." He smirked and transformed into his giant red fox form.
Ben grabbed Venus's hand again and steered her out of the hallways. "You're not hurt, right?"
Tam grinned. "Impressive?" he asked as the shark disappeared underwater.
Jace rolled his eyes and laughed. "There's a little thing called 'being humble.' But yeah, you seem pretty talented."
"I'm 18." James smiled. "Who says I'm not a child?"
Ben blushed also and whispered, "Your welcome. You did great. Now, let's get outta here before those bullies pound us to death."
Tam grinned back. "Then good, because I'm gonna try something even more dangerous!"
He waved his hands around, like he was crafting an invisible toy, and the lake rose until it formed a giant water shark.
"Just," Jace lied. "I'm.. uh, interested in shapeshifters. I mean, I can learn more about the power from them."
"You read that," James joked. "I'm going for the children's section with simple books with drawings."
"You nailed that!" Ben smiled as he hugged Venus.
"Thank god," Tam wiped his forehead. "Fingers crossed that you can swim, because the next time I try that, I could drown you," he joked.
"Honestly? Just practicing shapeshifting," Jace mumbled.
"Sure," James grinned back as he entered the library.
