Today marks 100 years since Merope died. She died right after Voldemort was born. Since it's Voldemort's birthday, it's also the anniversary of when Merope died, leaving a son behind without a mother to care for him. We can all remember her as a woman who lived a sad life and died in heartbreak. Her death was the first of many in the wizarding world.

He never trusted Karkaroff to begin with, but Karkaroff had turned in the other Death Eaters to the authorities and been cleared of his crimes since Hogwarts was the host school. Dumbledore had no choice then to let him in, but he had the other teachers spy on him so he could make sure Karkaroff didn't try anything sneaky.

Snape had no right to bully Neville the way he did the prophecy had nothing to do with his school work it just made him look like a douche and added to Neville's anxiety that he already suffered from and worst of all it made him Neville's greatest fear because of it.
