William Russell, the father of Alfred Enoch (who played Dean Thomas in the franchise)

Another live-action film that has several references and connections to the "Harry Potter" film series is "Boyhood". In one scene, the family watches "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" on TV and in another scene, that same family watches "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" on TV. Later on, Mason and Samantha attended a midnight release of the book "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince".

We all know that David Tennant played Barty Crouch Jr. in the "Harry Potter" film series, but he had several other roles in other films and TV shows. He played the Tenth Doctor and the Fourteenth Doctor in "Doctor Who" as well as that he voiced Zayton Honeycutt (aka the Fugitold) in the 2012 "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" TV series, Scrooge McDuck in the 2017 "DuckTales" TV series, and most recently Angus in "The Loud House Movie".

Remembering Leslie Phillips, the voice of the Sorting Hat, who would have turned 100 today.

Happy belated 53rd birthday to David Tennant, who played Barty Crouch Jr.

Happy birthday to Emma Watson and Emma Thompson, who played Hermione Granger and Sybill Trelawney respectively in the "Harry Potter" film series.

Maggie Smith, the actress who played Professor Minerva McGonagall in the Harry Potter films recently turned 89. I hope she will make it to 90 becoming a nonagenarian as well as still be alive for several more years.
