In real life stuff:
Name: Do you need me to tell you this?
Gender: Male, end of story.
Favorite character: Severus Snape (really kind of unfortunate he didn't survive the Second Wizarding War)
Not in real life stuff:
Wand: Siberian fir (Abies siberica), pheonix feather core, will bend but with difficulty, 12 inches precisely
Other accessories: A Smith and Wesson Model 27-2 with .357 Magnum ammunition, pitted top bullets.
Patronus: Reticulated python
Pet: Albino Burmese python (these are also known as golden pythons, but they are the same species)
Ancestry: Muggle-born, but with a distant Wizarding ancestor of the house of Gaunt (who I guess rebelled kinda like Sirius Black, broke with family tradition, and married a Muggle)
Noteworthy magical abilities: Due to an extended period of forced self-sufficiency, by the time I got the letter from Hogwarts I already had a pretty decent amount of control over my capabilities. Combine this with my tendency to think, and it followed that I developed the ability to cast most spells nonverbally with a snap of my fingers.
I also did a lot of research into the process of becoming an Animagus (and also some research into how DNA could be applied in potion-making) and managed to grow wings, sort of like crow's wings, but with a slightly higher aspect ratio. These are actually quite big, but fold up neatly beneath my clothing. They are made of "sceathers" (like the ones Saphira has in the Eragon movie) which makes them much more resistant to damage. Not only do they look intimidating and impressive, but they are also highly practical, as I can use them to hover or fly at great speed - without needing a broomstick OR a wand.
And finally, I am a Parselmouth, which definitely comes in handy sometimes. The ability was derived from the descendants of Salazar (see above detailed ancestry).
