Notes and references[]
- ↑ Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Chapter 15 (The Hogwarts High Inquisitor) starts on a Sunday, and then says "the next morning" changing the date to Monday. The chapter then talks about the first day of classes that happened on a Monday a week earlier, which was 2 September. "The following morning", Harry attends Transfiguration. Since eight days earlier was 2 September, it now has to be the 10 September.
