The 1927 Quidditch Cup was a Quidditch sporting event occurring in 1927.[1]
In it, Badger Picklish III failed to catch the Golden Snitch for his team, something which cost him his career as his team's star Seeker, which haunted Picklish even after his death, as he returned as a ghost. After losing said match, he hid the Snitch in Hogsmeade, having the Snitch become known as the Golden Snitch of Hogsmeade.[1]
