This couple were the parents of a Hufflepuff student that attended Hogwarts in the 1980s.[1]
Biography[]
The couple had a son who began his education at Hogwarts in 1981. At least one of them was a wizard as they took their son to Hogsmeade on 5 April 1981, before the beginning of his first year. There, he got a notebook that he would use at school.[1]
Their son wrote to them about his days at school and about a friend he made, named Edgar Hexsmith.[1] He participated in the Hogwarts Gobstones Tournament, where he faced Edgar in the final match and won.[2]
It is unknown if they ever knew of what happened to their son. He was pushed by Edgar to dive deep into the Black Lake, to teach him a lesson for embarrassing him in the tournament. He went in fact deeper and got himself dragged under by a torrent. Edgar would later find his robes and transfigured them to cover his tracks.[3]
