"Is this all real? Or has this been happening inside my head?"
The topic of this article is of a real-life subject that has been mentioned "in-universe" in a canon source. The Harry Potter Wiki is written from the perspective that all information presented in canon is true (e.g., Hogwarts really existed), and, as such, details contained in this article may differ from real world facts. |
30 St Mary Axe, more commonly known as The Gherkin, was a Muggle office building in London.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- This building appeared in a reflection off of a glass building in London and from artwork in Harry Potter Limited Edition, but the building's appearance is anachronistic, as the start of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is set in 1996, and 30 St Mary Axe first opened in 2003; it appears in the artwork due to the fact that it was created in either 2008 or 2009.
