- 1994: Professor Remus Lupin teaches Harry Potter about the Dementor's Kiss, and Harry's Firebolt is returned to him after being tested by Minerva McGonagall and Filius Flitwick. Harry and Ron make up with Hermione Granger. That evening, Scabbers disappears from Gryffindor Tower with only some ginger cat hairs left behind. Ron is now angry with Hermione because she does not take Scabbers' disappearance seriously.[1]

- 1970: Warwick Davis is born. He is the actor who voices the Gringotts Goblin Griphook in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and Professor Filius Flitwick in the whole movie adaptation of the seven Harry Potter books.[2]
- 1987: Sam Parham a British parkour performer, and freerunner who portrays a Snatcher in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, is born.
