This red scarf was made by Diana Grey[1] and belonged to her daughter Abigail Grey, who always wore it during her school years at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.[2]
History[]
At some point before 2010, Diana Grey knitted this scarf stitch by stitch in the hope that the scarf would take her place and be there for her daughter when she needed help the most, bringing warmth and comfort in the coldest of weather, as she knew she could not accompany her daughter forever.[1]
During a snowy Hogsmeade trip in the 2010–2011 school year, Abigail befriended a student. However, she hastily ran off after realising it was dark. The student tried to catch up with her, only to encounter a werewolf in a cave wearing Abigail's scarf, and worried that it had hurt her, not realising that the werewolf was Abigail herself.[3]
