Mr Ronen was the father of Abraham Ronen, a former Charms Master and Head of Slytherin House at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the late 19th century.[1][4]
Biography[]
He was a stern teacher who home-schooled his son, Abraham, on magic rather than send him to Hogwarts, which led Abraham to come to prefer games over strict teaching to enjoy learning when he became a teacher himself.[1] His teaching style was described as "Socratic".[4]
