Advanced Defence Against the Dark Arts was a book on fighting the dark arts, written by Professor Galatea Merrythought sometime in or before 1910.[1]
It was used by Professor Dumbledore as a required Defence Against the Dark Arts textbook when he taught the class in the 1910s.[1]
