An Adversary was a special type of particularly aggressive Foundable that manifested itself in the world during the Calamity. Members of the Statute of Secrecy Task Force found dealing these types of Foundables very challenging, since they were magically stronger than normal Foundables, and they usually took the form of powerful wizards and creatures from the history of the wizarding world.[1]
