This individual was an Auror at the British Ministry of Magic. They worked alongside Aesop Sharp during his time as an Auror, prior to becoming Potions Master at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.[1]
Biography[]
As an Auror, they and Aesop tracked a suspect to a harbour in Scarborough who was trying to smuggle shrunken heads. Aesop had deduced that he was working alone, but was mistaken. This individual died as a result of their failure to anticipate an ambush, leading Aesop to be injured and retired by the Ministry.[1][2]
