Alanis is one of the four Maine Coon cats who have taken turns playing Mrs Norris in the Harry Potter films, the other three being Cornilus, Maximus, and Tommy.[1][2] Alanis was trained to be held in Argus Filch's arms without squirming. She was so good at her job that often she fell asleep during shoots.
