Albino bloodhounds were bloodhounds with albinism: that is, they had no pigment in their eyes, fur, or skin. Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry had a pack of these bloodhounds, cared for by the Hogwarts Hippogriff Club.[4]
History[]

A transfigured albino bloodhound confronting a Nogtail in Classroom 3C
A pack of twelve of these dogs were kept by the Pest Advisory Board of the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. The Sub-Division used them to chase away Nogtails from farms.[2][3][5]
In the 1990–1991 school year, Professor Olivia Green had Jacob's sibling transform a small object into an albino bloodhound in Classroom 3C to defend themselves against a live Nogtail during one of her Defence Against the Dark Arts lessons.[1]
