Pont Alexandre III (Alexander III Bridge) is a deck arch bridge that spans the Seine river in Paris. It connects the Champs-Élysées avenue with those near Les Invalides and the Eiffel Tower. The bridge is widely regarded as the most ornate, extravagant bridge in the city and is considered a marvel of 19th century engineering.[1]
History[]
