Amali was a witch in the late 19th century who was connected to Uagadou.[1]
Biography[]
Amali developed a close friendship with Uagadou Divination professor Mudiwa Onai, connecting with her daughter, Natsai, as well. In the late 19th century, Mudiwa and Natsai left Matabeleland following the death of Natsai Onai's father, with Mudiwa accepting the title of Divination professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and her and Natsai transferring to the school.
In response to a letter from Mudiwa, Amali wrote her a letter expressing her pleasure that she and Natsai were doing well at Hogwarts, even if Natsai had recently become slightly challenging. She expressed that both Natsai and her daughter were very strong willed and that she missed them at Uagadou, although she stated that she understood their reasons for moving away. Amali stated that not even those with the Inner Eye like Mudiwa truly knew everything that lay ahead but that she was confident that good things lay ahead for Mudiwa and Natsai at Hogwarts and wherever they would go in the future.[1]
