Mrs Flume was a British witch and the co-owner of Honeydukes alongside her husband Ambrosius Flume.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Mrs Flume was born a witch and possibly attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as her husband did. At some point in her life, Mrs Flume married Ambrosius Flume.[3] She eventually went to work for Ciceron Harkiss who gave her her first job after a recommendation by Horace Slughorn.[4]
Honeydukes[]
By 1993, the couple lived in a flat above Honeydukes Sweetshop and ran together said shop. In 1993, during one of the weekend trips to Hogsmeade, Mrs Flume asked her husband to get some Jelly Slugs, as the shop was filled with Hogwarts students.[5]
Battle of Hogwarts[]
It is possible that Mrs Flume participated in the Battle of Hogwarts alongside her husband and other residents of Hogsmeade village, although this is unconfirmed. She survived the Second Wizarding War and was still running Honeydukes in 2010.[6]
2010s[]
In December 2010, Mrs Flume was sending gifts every now and then to Horace Slughorn for his help in getting her first job with Ciceron Harkiss. She told a student she would give them Jelly Slugs if they took her latest gift to him. She also told them she had developed Pepper Imps herself.[6]
One night, her husband was attacked by a thief on a spree of break-ins. The next day, she spoke to the student about it and told them nothing had been stolen but it was quite a mess and everything had been trampled on. She suggested it could have been a paw that did the damage and the student thought it sounded like Mrs Flume thought Renka could be right that a werewolf was responsible.[7]
