Andrew was a wizard and Ravenclaw student at Hogwarts School during the 1990s. In 1992, he became a member of the Duelling Club and was ranked four on the Club's top-ten duellists list.[3]
Etymology
Andrew is from the Greek name Ανδρεας (Andreas), which was derived from ανηρ (aner) "man" (genitive ανδρος (andros) "of a man"). This name has been common (in various spellings) throughout the Christian world, and it became very popular in the Middle Ages. Saint Andrew is regarded as the patron of Scotland, Russia, Greece and Romania.
