Angus Sweeting (fl. 1890) was the father of Poppy Sweeting. He and his wife worked as poachers and raised Poppy in poacher camps, which resulted in her becoming an activist on behalf of beasts, and her parents' estrangement from her after she fled to live with her grandmother.[1]
Biography[]
When they infiltrated a poacher fight ring and freed a dragon with Poppy, the new fifth-year student found a letter from a poacher couple, asking their friend Smithey why he didn't join them in Borneo to hunt for Acromantulas and telling him that they would go to Egypt next. After Poppy told her friend about her backstory, she revealed that the last time she heard about her parents, they were capturing Acromantulas in Borneo.[2]
