Annalena Murk[4] was the older sister of Ismelda Murk. She attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and was sorted into Gryffindor.
Biography
She was made a Prefect and, at some point after graduation, joined the British Ministry of Magic.[3]
Her parents were very proud of her achievements, causing them to neglect their younger daughter.[3]
Sometime during 1989–1990 school year, she wanted to visit Ismelda at Hogwarts.[6]

- ↑ "Jupiter in Scorpio" puts Annalena joining the Ministry between 26 November, 1981 and 25 December, 1982, the latest Jupiter crossed the Scorpio constellation prior to the Ismelda being in Year 5. Year 5 is significant, as that is when the "Crushed" SQ is set, and where Ismelda reveals her older sister was a Gryffindor Prefect who joined the Ministry of Magic. If we assume Annalena joined the Ministry right out of school, that would put her graduation in 1982 and her birth year as 1964. Her ID lists her date of birth as "Sun in Pisces, Moon in Leo" which means she was born either 24th or 25th February, 1964.
