"They had been given special, new quills for the exams, which had been bewitched with an AntiCheating spell."
—Harry Potter sitting through his first year written exams[src]

An Anti-Cheating Quill is a special quill on which an Anti-Cheating Spell has been placed in order to make it impossible to cheat.

They are issued to students sitting O.W.L. and N.E.W.T. examinations at Hogwarts, as well at their end of the year examinations.[1][2]
