Anticipating Moves was a Quidditch tactic in which the player anticipated the moves of their opponents by getting clues from their shoulders and eyes, and perhaps more. During the 1987–1988 school year, Jacob's sibling's House's Quidditch team practised Anticipating Moves after receiving instruction from Murphy McNully and Professor McGonagall.[1]
