The antidote to Billywig stings was a potion that cured the floating and increased giddiness resulting from Billywig stings.[1]
History[]

Snape drinking the antidote
During the 1988–1989 school year at Hogwarts, Jacob's sibling and Professor Severus Snape successfully brewed this antidote in order to cure Snape himself, Fang, Penny Haywood, Barnaby Lee, and Ismelda Murk from the effects of the stings of escaped Billywigs. The potion was later provided to all afflicted individuals, with the addition of the also afflicted Jae Kim.[1]
