The Antidote to Uncommon Poisons was a potion that cured minor magical or uncommon poisons such as Doxy bites, which were highly venomous. The ingredients required were fire seeds, graphorn horn, billywig stings and chizpurfle carapaces.[1]
History[]
Third-year students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry were taught to brew this in December of 1993; they were required to collect the ingredients for homework and mix them together in the following lesson. This was the only thing that marred the third years' Christmas spirits.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- This potion is possibly just a typo of the Antidote to Common Poisons, as it appears nowhere else in the franchise, but the Antidote to Common Poisons is very common in other media.
Appearances[]
- Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (video game) (First appearance) (Console versions only)
- Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Possible appearance)
